Hirsch’s is looking for a vibrant, dynamic, results driven candidate to join our team as a Assistant Warehouse Supervisor!
Accountable for stock holding in the warehouse, dispatching as well as receiving of goods and managing the day-to-day operations. Ensuring efficiency and accuracy with regards to processes and procedures. Continuously monitoring and reporting on stock movement in the warehouse.
DUTIES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Driving operational objectives as well as branch growth opportunities
· Reporting to all levels of the business
· Managing of day-to-day operations in the warehouse
· Coordinate daily operations (stock processes, coordinating deliveries with suppliers, GRN’s, GRS’s, Invoicing etc.)
· Managing of stock (stock counts, merchandising, labelling, pricing, etc.)
· Overseeing of maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse
· Scheduling and Overseeing of Deliveries on a daily/weekly basis
· Monitoring of employee performance
· Managing employee productivity
· Receiving and Dispatching of stock
· Training of employees
Processing all documentation for stock received against purchase orders and reconciling
Handling any and all queries pertaining to receiving and dispatch
Ensure that the stock within the warehouse is in the correct location and matches the stock keeping system
Ensure stock accuracy at all times
Oversee that the receiving of goods is done according to procedure
To timeously record any discrepancies with stock and to ensure that thorough investigation is done when discrepancies occur
Process all customer orders and ensure correct picking, packing and distribution is done
Ensure that the correct stock is dispatched as per invoice
Continuous stock counts
Ensure warehouse premises (inside/outside) are always neat and tidy
Ensure stock is stored correctly as per guidelines provided by suppliers
Ensure that packing is to the required standard
To ensure that all health and safety rules and regulations is adhered to
Must be an all-rounder – admin orientated, professional, reliable and presentable
People Management

EDUCATION:
Matric
Relevant Degree or Diploma will be advantageous
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a same or similar role
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong organising and administration skills
Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite
